Alleluia! Happy Easter!!
Dan and I had to wake up the kids this morning. That doesn't often happen. Dan went to wake up Kolbe and he said, "I don't want to be seen yet." And then pulled the covers over his head. Really? 3 going on 13.
We went to 7:30 Mass...yes...7:30 and somehow we made it right on time. The kids did very well. Emma was especially good this morning because Mrs. Millie, her teacher, was sitting two rows in front of us. We need to arrange for that to happen more often...
So here we are- a tad bit disheveled after Mass:
And here is a little pic that Emma took of us- she edited it too...
Also, I thought I should join the other ladies today for the "OTI: What I Wore Easter" Link-Up:
Details:
Dress: Garnet Hill (A repeat from a few years ago)
Shoes: DSW (a gift from my sweet hubby, who loves shoes and I think might have more pairs than me...)
Backdrop: my parents lovely sunroom :)
We are spending the rest of the day at my parents house. Good ol' Uncle Alex is excited about hiding some eggs and the kids can't wait to go hunting for them. I am so excited that Lent is finally over and I am looking forward to having some family time this week.
God is good. All of the time.
P.S. I wanted to give a little birthday shout-out to Ana! Happy birthday dear friend, love and miss you!
Thanks for joining!!! You look gorgeous Lauren. As does your house!!! Wow.
Happy Easter!
I second Grace's comment! Gorgeous!
I second what Grace said: your house is amazing! You and your family look doubly-amazing, and the photography is awesome all around. Have a very happy Easter! (P.S. I totally know what you mean about DD actually wanting to wear something acceptable. Doesn't happen nearly enough.)
Super cute dress! Very spring-y. :-)
What is this beautiful building you're standing in?? Your house? Your folks'? It's divine. Anywho, you are looking VERY classy and very Easter-y :-)

Thank you Grace! And I wish I could say that was my house- but it is my parents! But I love it too!!
I love your dress! Perfect for spring and even more perfect for Easter :) And your shoes are amazing!
"Parents lovely sunroom" — you weren't kidding!! That is one amazing space. Post it on Houzz. Anywho, kuddos on the early Mass, and your look has a touch of retro, which I love.

How am I just reading this today? Too much family time and not enough friend-blog reading on Easter, that's how. I love you and miss you and you look tremendous! Happy Easter to you all!!
Beautiful home and you look stunning in it! Wow! I love the dress...so sweet and classic. Add in the shoes and you look ready for a magazine shoot. Just lovely. Happy Easter!
You look gorgeous! And I love the Return to Me reference! :)
Dress is so flattering on you! Actually googled Garnet Hill (had never heard of this brand) after seeing this post to see if they are having any sales. Happy Easter!
That picture looks like it is straight out of a trendy house decorating magazine.
So so so so BEAUTIFUL! :)
Everything in this picture is lovely - you, your dress, and your home! I'm very impressed that your husband bought those shoes too; he has a good eye!
